The housing shortage has led to brokerage firms emerging on the second hand housing market. This has sometimes
resulted in auctions for the desired contracts.

A person who buys a home can lease it to another person. The difficulty of finding accommodation in many citys
in Sweden today has made sublets highly desired. This has resulted in the surfacing of companies who let applicants
compete for the sublets. The one who pays the most wins the accommodation, so called auctioning.

The law regarding rentals of second-hand apartments was amended a year ago. This has led to an increase in rent – and that
auctions can determine who wins the attractive contracts.

Housing supply is too small, and prices are soaring. There is no shortage of companies looking to solve that
problem.
